The recent elementary school shootings is one of the worst crimes I can imagine. What really bothers me is that the man who did it will likely have his name plastered all over the place, yet the ones who died will not. I loved Christmas with my kids. It was the highlight of my life. I can't imagine losing them so close to Christmas. I imagine the parents had already purchased gifts that will go unopened. If I were in this situation, I would find a tiny amount of peace knowing others took the time to note the life of my child. I hope others will do this as well...To remember these precious children I am putting their names on my Christmas tree. A reminder that life is so very precious.
